Jitters Over Antarctica
NBC's Ann Curry is getting a bit nervous about her impending trip the other end of the world because of the possibility of major technical issues and...the brutal cold.
Today says, "Curry’s trip will be part of broadcast history. On Nov. 5 and 6 TODAY will for the first time will broadcast live and simultaneously from locations that circle the globe from north to south. It’s part NBC Universal’s “Green is Universal” initiative that takes an unprecedented look at Planet Earth." Matt Lauer will be in Greenland and Al Roker will be at the Equator. Curry heads out this weekend.
